    Post-Doctoral Fellowship in QCT for Bone Imaging

    We are seeking an individual with a PhD who is interested in becoming
    a National Research Council post-doctoral fellow in the Life Sciences
    Division at NASA Ames Research Center. The individual must be
    knowledgeable in the use of quantitative computed tomography (QCT).
    The fellowship period is for 1 or 2 years. Both recent PhD recipients
    and more established scientists may apply. Salary is based upon
    experience. Starting salary for a newly matriculated PhD in
    engineering is $42,500 per year. A $2,000 supplemental stipend exists
    for professional travel during each fellowship year. The fellowship
    requires a short proposal in addition to other application materials
    and supporting documents. The earliest possible start date for the
    fellowship is November 15, 1996. The deadline for receipt of
    completed applications is August 15.
