Tregarthen Research Studentship

An oppurtunity exists to join an interdisciplinary research group working o=
n=20
the design/evaluation of adhesively bonded dental bridges. The studentship =
is=20
available for a period of three years with a maintenance grant of =A36,731=
=20
per annum (revised in line with MRC studentships). The first phase of the=
=20
project involving the creation of finite element model of a tooth and its=
=20
supporting ligament is now complete. The second phase will involve=20
testing tooth preparetion/retainer designs and associated adhesives. The=20
person appointed is likely to be a graduate with an interest in materials=
=20
science, engineering and finite element analysis.
