Subject: The efficacy of symptom questionnaires
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For those diehard ergonomists out there, I am interested in
exploring the issue of SYMPTOM QUESTIONNAIRES and how effective
they are in the early identification of RSI symptoms. More
specifically, do symptom questionnaires open a Pandora's
Box--eliciting a rash of complaints, thus overwhelming the
medical folks--or do they truly contribute to a reduction in lost
work days. Further, could you suggest any valid and reliable
questionnaires?
Your input would be very much appreciated.
