Assistant Professor of Research in Orthopaedics
Applications are being accepted for a full-time research faculty member at the
University of Virginia for the Motion Analysis Laboratory. This position will be on
the tenure track at an Assistant Professor level to begin September 1, 1996.
The applicant for this position should be a Master's or PhD. prepared physical
therapist who demonstrates either knowledge of or prior experience in 3-D gait
analysis. The position will perform clinical and research studies on adults and
children with cerebral palsy and other neuromuscular conditions. A strong background
in biomechanics is preferred but not required. The new faculty member will be
joining an established, state-of-the-art motion analysis laboratory.
