    ****POST-DOCTORAL POSITION AVAILABLE****
We have a post-doctoral (Research Associate) position available in the
Sensory Motor Performance Program at the Rehabilitation Institute of
Chicago, and the Department of Physiology, Northwestern University. Our
laboratory is actively examining the neural mechanisms and biomechanics
underlying control of the head and neck and the role of head movement in
whole body posture. Current work is focused on experiments in both human
and primate models using behavioral and kinematic measures, biomechanical
modelling, and dynamic neural network modelling to define mechanisms. The
laboratory is set in a research department with numerous investigations in
the motor control field. Further information about our departments can be
found on the websites: http://sulu.smpp.nwu.edu and
    http://dept-www.physio.nwu.edu/.

Primary advisers for these positions are Dr. Emily Keshner and Dr. Barry
Peterson. Opportunities also exist to interact with Drs. Scott Delp,
Timothy Hain, and Zev Rymer, and other post-docs and graduate students.
RIC offers competitive salary and benefits (EOE, M/F, D/V).
Qualifications include a Ph.D. in neurophysiology, biomechanics,
engineering or a related field. Funds are available for three years and
the fellow will be encouraged to apply for future funding after the first
    year.

If you are interested, please e-mail or fax a CV, a description of your
research interests, and the names of 3 references to:
