Tenure Stream Faculty Position
Division of Physical Therapy
Applications are invited for a tenure stream faculty position in the
Division of Physical Therapy in the School of Rehabilitation Therapy,
Faculty of Medicine. The School of Rehabilitation Therapy offers
undergraduate BSc degree programs in Physical and Occupational Therapy as
well as an interdisciplinary MSc program in Rehabilitation. Research
activities cover several areas with particular emphasis in two fields:
human motor performance and disability and handicap in the community.
The successful candidate will be a physiotherapist with a doctoral degree
in health sciences, social sciences or related discipline, who has a strong
research background and the potential to establish an independent research
program. Preference will be given to those candidates with a clinical
background in neurology.
Responsibilities of the position include both graduate and undergraduate
teaching and research. Undergraduate teaching responsibilities will include
the coordination and teaching of the clinical neurology component of the
Physical Therapy curriculum.
Salary and academic rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.
In accordance with Canadian Immigration requirements, only applicants from
