ORIGINAL MESSAGE
"In a previous post I recall reading about a proposed conference on
teaching methods for Biomechanics and Kinesiology. I could locate nothing
on the Biomechanics WWW page mentioning this conference. Any information
that could be provided (especially dates, location, estimated registration
fee) would be greatly appreciated."
SUMMARY
It appears that the conference is still be organized. I hope the
organizers will post the relevant information on this forum.

The Biomechanics teaching conference will be held next summer in conjunction
with the International Symposium on Biomechanics in Sports at Texas Woman's
University in Denton, Texas. The conference will run part of the week with
ISBS being the other part. Jerry Wilkerson is currently in the planning
stages and will be sending out information sometime this Fall. The
conference is sponsored by NASPE (AAHPERD).

Jerry Wilkerson at TWU will be the host. The dates will be associated with
the International Society of Biomechanics in Sport. I do not have her
address, but you might look under the Biomechanics Academy WWW site (that
one would be developed was mentioned at AAHPERD in Atlanta).
[nothing was mentioned on the Biomechanics Academy WWW site - MEF]
