A colleague of mine wants to compress cartilage with a porous indenter.
The indenter has to be able to withstand 1 MPa, and needs to be porous to
allow relatively free passage of water. It also needs to go inside
a MRI magnetic field.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what material is suitable?
