KRUG Life Sciences Biotechnology Laboratory at the NASA Johnson Space Center
invites applicants to fill the position of Biomedical/Electrical Engineer.
Applicants must possess a minimum MS degree or equivalent in biomedical
engineering, electrical engineering or a related engineering field, and at least
two (2) years working experience. The applicant will develop significant
research programs to support developing state-of-the-art biosensors for
monitoring microgravity tissue culture bioreactors. Applicant will be an
extensive and original thinker, able to independently identify, design, and
conduct test plans.
The sucessful candidate must have a strong background in C language programming,
data acquisition, and electronic circuit design, fabrication, and testing.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work on multiple high
visibility projects are required. Knowledge of biotechnology processes will be
an advantage.
