$7,600 for academic year plus tuition waiver
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Undergraduate degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation or related field
Recommended Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher
Acceptance to the Graduate College
Three letters of recommendation
RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include data collection for research, laboratory maintenance, calibration of equipment,
assisting (teaching laboratories and partially grading) in classes such as Kinesiology (PE 4630) -
Laboratory Methods in Exercise Science (PE 4010) - Kinesiological Analysis of Motor Skills (PE
8450).
Research projects can range from laboratory funded projects to academic research pursuits.
Specific works include evaluation of performance and human interaction with exercise equipment
and a variety of projects related to gait, injury mechanisms, basic lower extremity function and
research methodology.
DEGREES
Master of Arts or Master of Science with major in Exercise Science.

A state of the art HPER instructional facility which includes:
Biomechanics Lab Development Adapted Lab
Movement Analysis Lab Large Activity Areas and Courts
Motor Development Lab Recreation/Leisure Studies Lab
Health Education Lab Outdoor Venture Center
First Aid Lab 50 Meter Pool
Exercise Physiology Lab 14 Racquetball/Squash Courts
