    TWO LECTURESHIPS IN EQUINE SCIENCE

The Department of Anatomy offers a BSc (Hons) course in Equine Science, and
operates the Equine Sports Medicine Centre, a well-equipped facility for
clinical, research and teaching activities, including a high speed treadmill
    and
    associated monitoring equipment.

Applications are invited for two new lectureships. One is available from
January 1997; the second should be available for appointment from August 1997.

One appointee will preferably be veterinary qualified. It would be an
    advantage
for applicants to have interests/experience in exercise science or a related
discipline. Appointees will be expected to develop teaching and research
activities, and where appropriate, will have opportunity to develop clinical
interests in association with their research.

Appointments will be made on the Lecturer 1a/b scale.

Informal enquiries to Dr. Jeremy Naylor MRCVS on (44) 01934-853223, e-mail
    j.r.j.naylor@bris.ac.uk (or 100517.1264@compuserve.com).

Closing date for applications is November 15th 1996. Further
details/application forms from the Personnel Office, University of Bristol,
