The Department of Kinesiology at the University of Windsor
invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of
Assistant Professor. The appointment will commence July 1, 1997.
The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Kinesiology or Physical
Education specializing in Biomechanics with an emphasis on
biomechanics in the work place. In addition, knowledge of applied
human physiology would be an asset.
The Department of Kinesiology, located in the Faculty of Human
Kinetics, offers an honours bachelor's degree as well as a master's
degree in Human Kinetics. The graduate program offers specialization
in both Applied Human Performance and Sport Management. At the
undergraduate level students major in Movement Science, Sport
Management, or Leisure Studies.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses at
both the graduate and undergraduate levels. The candidate must also
show evidence of strong research training with the ability to conduct
both independent and collaborative research within the Applied Human
Performance program.
