There are currently two job openings at Qualisys Inc. Qualisys is an
international company with main offices in Connecticut and Sweden. The
major product offered by Qualisys is a high resolution digital vision
motion capture system. The major markets include medical care and
university research, entertainment (real time animation) and the
industrial community. The applications include; but are not limited to,
sport biomechanics, clinical gait and ergonomics.
(1) Technical Sales Person
Experience
Direct sales in the medical care and university market is preferred.
Experience with large systems which include vision components and
computers is a must. Experience in motion capture a plus. The candidate
should be experienced in selling systems at the $100,000 level. Writing
and communication skills a must.
Education
A degree in biomechanics or engineering, preferably electrical or
mechanical, is required. At least three (3) years in direct sales is
required.
Qualisys is based in Glastonbury, Connecticut. The successful candidate
will be required to reside in Connecticut.

(2) Product Specialist
Engineering support
The position requires the candidate to review the hardware and software
to insure appropriate integration of our product with resale items.
Likewise the candidate must be able to select hardware items for
integration to the product line and for specific customer orders. The
candidate will be required to prepare proposals and quotations for
systems. Both PC and Macintosh computer experience is required.
Sales support
The position requires a candidate to support the sales force and
customer base on a technical level. The candidate will perform system
demonstrations, sales force and customer training, and installations on
site as well as at the Company s headquarters.
Education and Experience requirements
A bachelors degree in engineering, mechanical or electrical, is
required. Advanced degrees a plus. At least 3 to 5 years experience in
engineering and technical sales support with high tech computer based
product is required. Software experience a must. Experience with digital
vision products a plus. Writing and communication skills a must.
