Dear Biomechanists
We have some CT-scans made with SIEMENS SOMATOM scanner.
The file format should be ACR-NEMA 1.0 and/or SPI 1.0. We found a
description
of this file format and the pixel data (Hounsfield Units) should be of type
unsigned integer.
We have scanned the biological object in air and therefore we should get
some
pixel data with negative signs (air is -1000), but we have found only
positive data. We are not sure if all the data has been transformed to give
only positive data or if the negative data has been filtered out.
Does someone have experience with this CT file format and the output of
SIEMENS
SOMATOM scanners? We already know the work of David Clunie.
Thank you very much.
