The British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES) annual
Biomechanics Meeting is being hosted by the University of Teesside on
Thursday 20 and Friday 21 March 1997. The aims of this meeting are
to:
- bring together sport and exercise professionals with an interest in
biomechanics, motor control and associated areas (see topics of the meeting).
- introduce, demonstrate and debate the contribution the topics can make
to the advancement of the sport and exercise sciences.
This meeting will be delivered on a lecture and workshop basis
covering the following topics:
- motor control and biomechanics: links between the areas.
- pressure and force analysis: theory, systems and research.
- laboratory issues: techniques, standards and BASES accreditation.
