Dear Biomch-L Readers:
A 28 year old female runner recently lost her distal phalanx on her
left foot. The question is does anyone know of any literature
related to this problem, either by way of problems related to the
condition, or prosthetic implants used to correct the problem.
This person would like to return to a running program, but she
experiences extreme pain after about 30 minutes of running.
Thanks in advance for your responses.
