Laboratory insurance

Greetings:

The hospital that MAY host our new spine research laboratory has asked
that we first obtain insurance against lawsuits that could be associated with
any devices or techniques that we develop. Does anyone have
any experience with insuring a research laboratory that they could share
with us? How much insurance is appropriate? Recomendations for
a good insurance company?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I will post a summary of any responses to this request.
