Dear BIOMCH-L Colleagues,
I was surprised to find such a strong response from Lonni Friedman,
asking a fellow scientist on this list to refrain from sending
scientifically pertinent information to subscribers. This list, and
many others like it on the Internet, was originally created
specifically to assist scientists with their work, by helping us all
to avoid re-inventing the wheel. I do think we've had our share of
inappropriate postings, but I certainly wouldn't classify Virgil
Stokes' follow-up in that category.
Let's give each other room to use this list as it was intended.
