Dear Biomch-L readers,
Following Inge S"oderkvist's (Umeaa/Sweden) recent Biomch-L posting on his
`licentiats thesis' on R"ontgenstereophotogrammetry, today I received some
supplementary information on his work from him; in his letter, he mentioned
that his posting resulted in 20 requests up to 21 August.
Thus, it seems that this kind of (noncommercial) advertising is effective,
considering the current membership of 336 subscribers to Biomch-L, and I
would like to suggest that we all post announcements of relevant theses,
reports etc. that are in the forefront of our field. At the present time,
the ISB Newsletter already publishes many thesis abstracts, and its publica-
tion delays might be offset by a prior and complemetary announcement on our
list!
