I am currently performing a literature survey on total joint replacements in ord
er to determine the "state of the art" in joint prosthetics. If anyone out t
here is currently conducting research in this area or knows of others who are
conductiong research in this area, I would be glad to hear from you.
Specifically, I am interested in the following areas:
1. Composite joints (as opposed to metallic joints, ie stems)
2. Loading conditions across articulating joints
3. Stress distributions in articulating bones .
I would like to know of any papers published/to be published in this area and cu
rrent work being performed.
