Thanks to all who responded concerning my query about treadmill analysis of
gait using Gait Trak software from Motion Analysis Corp.(MAC) I was aware that
there are other ways to calculate walking velocity and stride length but
I was looking for "the easy way out" and was hoping there was a way to
"tweak" the software so as to determine the distance the marker moved
instead of the displacement. John Greaves from MAC stated that the program
as it works now, only looks at the displacement of the marker in calcualting
walking velocity and stride length.
