Does anyone know of a reference describing how to assess stair
ascent/descent as an Activity of Daily Living? I've been told that the
way the person goes up or down the stairs (one hand or both hands on
reilings, both feet placed on each step, etc.) is important as well as
the time it takes them to complete the task. I am looking for a way to
score or evaluate the data, if there is one, to allow a comparison to a
normal group.
Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
