Testing ligaments

Dear Biomechs

I was wondering if anyone knew a technique to determine the Youngs modulus
of ligamentous tissue without using a bone-ligament-bone complex ie ligament
alone with length 15mm. Does anyone have experience with ultrasonic
determination of Youngs modulus for soft tissue?

Any thoughts appreciated
