Ladies & Gentlemen:
Shoe soles repeatedly compress during walking and become thinner with each
deformation. The original thickness is not regained after relaxation leading to a
permanent compression set. A large compression set may hinder the cushioning benefits
of shoe midsoles.
Can anyone tell me the relationship between a large/small compression set and
stability of the midsole material in shoes? All responses are welcome especially thoes
involved in SATRA testing.
Sincerely;
Patricia Brown
