In some tests we measured a relative motion between an implant and its
cement mantle on about 60 microns. We feel that this is probably a stick
regime, where the displacement is completely accomodated by elastic
deformation of PMMA ridges. If this is true, no or minimal damage would be
expected.
Now my boss want (for yesteday) a reference in support of this speculation.
Does anybody have data or a reference about displacement amplitude VS
damage between TI and PMMA?
Thanks a Lot
