I am currently looking into the kinematics of a long jump. I am interested
in finding information/journals/studies regarding this area. I have
analysed a number of subjects jumping to determine the effectiveness of
their jumps. I am particularly interested in ground reaction forces, take
off phase, run up velocity, angle of projection of jumper, any features of
the jump that give a positive contribution to the length of the jump,
improvements that could be made by the jumper, technique of elite jumpers
and investigating injury mechanisms in jumping.
