Hello.
Once again i must appeal to the greater experience and wonderfully
helpful attitude of the Biomch-l community.
i have just completed a study on mouse OI (osteogenesis imperfecta)
bones and looking in the literature (including firstsearch, medline,
etc) i could not find any data on similar studies on human OI bones.
(B Alman and P Frasca, J Orthop Research, 1987 was the only one that
had any data from real mechanical testing).
i would like to know if any one knows of any data available of
elasticity, strength, or anisotropy from mechanical or ultrasonic
testing of human OI bones?
Please reply to:
smehta@mednet.swmed.edu
Thank you
