Nike would like to accounce that we are in the process of doing some professional networking for the
Research, Design, and Development Division. We are searching for a Director of Product Testing who
will direct the operation of the Product Testing program and ensure that the program's activities
are consistent with NIKE's business goals and objectives. The
responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Plan and administer NIKE's Product Testing Program in order to maximize
operational efficiency
2. Manage and coordinate the activities of Fieldtesting manager,
Mechanical Testing Manager, and Physical Testing Manager
3. Provide operational direction for Europe and Asia Product Testing
Manager
4. Oversee a staff: minimum 17 with potential growth
5. Provide technical expertise and guidance to Product Testing staff and
client groups to facilitate understanding of product-test information.
Ideal candidate should have 5-8 years of industry experience with a master's degree ( Ph.D. preferred)
in experimental psychology, human factors, market research, or related field. Also, they should have a
minimum of three years experience in conducting quantitative subjective testing. In addition, this person
will have 3-5 years of managerial experience in a consumer-product testing environment, preferably
within the Sports and Fitness industry. As you can tell, the emphasis of this position is on testing NOT
biomechanics.
