The Biomechanics Section at the Technical University of
Hamburg-Harburg has an opening for a postdoctoral
research fellow. The position can also be awarded to individuals with
a Masters Degree and exceptional professional or research experience.
The project concerns the micro-motion between cup and acetabulum in
non cemented hip endoprostheses during patient activities. It involves
the modification and application of an existing FE model (developed
with MARC-MENTAT) to dynamic loading situations.
The position (BAT IIa, approx. 73000 DM/year) is limited to
18 month. Knowledge of the German language is required to a certain
extent, fluency is not expected.
