The Biomaterials Testing Laboratory at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation
is accepting applications for a research engineer. The laboratory is an
active research facility in orthopaedic materials and interfaces with
graduate students and residents from several clinical departments.
Qualifications for the position include a B.S. or M.S. in Physics,
Biomedical Engineering, or related field with research experience in materials testing,
programming, and working with various animal models. The ideal candidate
will have experience with developing new designs and testing modalities and
will able to conduct imaginative research with materials for hard and soft
tissue replacement and spine biomechanics. Good written and communicative
skills are required.
