Some of our surgeons are requesting anti-fatigue mats in the ORs. They
state that they relieve back pain during long cases. The problem is
that our Epidimiology Department has concluded that they can only be
used once, therefore making them very expensive to use as disposable
mats for every surgical case.
They have asked me to see if there are any shoe inserts which function
similar to the anti-fatigue mats. Does anyone have any experience with
those mats or any similar shoe inserts?
Thank you in advance.
