    HELLO EVERYONE,

    I have a question for you I would really appreciate a few

    minutes of your time your response would be very

    helpful. I have taken a adaptive PE - kinesiology

    class so I have gather the following

    info from this source as well as a couple of books

    that I have read:

    KINESIOLOGY OF EXERCISE
    BY DR. MICHAEL YESSIS

    I fell off my bike, Flew over the top of my handle bars, with my left arm

    extended straight out in front of me. SORT OF SIMILAR TO THE WAY A

    BASEBALL PLAYER

    DIVES FOR A BASEBALL IN THE OUTFIELD.

    I felt a huge pain in my upper back area,IN THE VICINITY BETWEEN THE

    INNER SIDE OF MY SCAPULA AND MY SPINE.

    so I would assume that I injured my RHOMBOID AND TRAPS

    MUSCLES.

    WHEN I DO SIDEWARD DEPRESSION OF THE ARM AGAINST

    RESISTANCE a.k.a. adduction of the humerus OR IN THE SAME MOTION

    DOWNWARD ROTATION OF THE SCAPULA EXAMPLE LAT

    PULL DOWNS TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD

    I believe the above is the correct use of technical terminology but I'm

    sure you have a clear understanding of what I mean anyway.

    WHILE DOING THIS MOVEMENT I EXPERIENCE PAIN AND

    "UNNATURAL" MOVEMENT FOR EXAMPLE WHEN I POSITION MY

    ARMS AT THE BEGINNING OF THE LAT PULL EXERCISE MY LEFT -

    holding on to the bar with my arms fully stretched over my head

    SCAPULA, THE ONE THAT WAS INJURED, PULLS OR IS AT A MUCH

    FARTHER DISTANCE AWAY FROM MY SPINE THAN MY RIGHT

    UNINJURED SCAPULA AND WHILE ACTUALLY DOING THE PULL

    DOWN MOVEMENT THE SCAPULA SIMPLY HAS A HARD TIME TO DO

    ITS DOWNWARD ROTATION DUTIES, IT ALSO DIFFICULT TO END THE

    MOVEMENT WITH THE SO MUCH TALKED ABOUT SQUEEZE AT THE

    END OF MANY SHOULDER GIRDLE EXERCISE

    I ALSO EXPERIENCE PRETTY MUCH THE SAME SYMPTOMS WHILE

    TRYING TO DO DOING BENT-OVER ROWS AKA

    RETRACTION OF THE SCAPULA

    AT THE BEGINNING OF THE BENT OVER ROW EXERCISE MY LEFT

    SCAPULA - WHILE WEIGHT IS PULLING ON MY ARMS AND SHOULDER

    GIRDLE - THE SCAPULA -LEFT- IS AT A STATE OF EXTREME

    SHOULDER GIRDLE ABDUCTION- LIKE THE ABOVE MY SCAPULA IS

    MUCH FARTHER AWAY FROM MY SPINE THAN THE RIGHT OK ONE IS

    OK AFTER ALL OF THIS IS THERE A POSSIBILITY THAT I

    COULD HAVE RIPPED MY RHOMBOID AND OR TRAP

    MUSCLES, IF SO COULD IT HAVE BEEN TOTALLY RIPPED

    OFF, WHAT ARE THE TREATMENTS FOR THIS TYPE OF
    INJURY.

    WHAT ARE SOME GOD EXERCISE TO STRENGTHEN THESE

    MUSCLE

    JUST INCASE IF ANY OF YOU ARE THINK THAT I AM TRYING

    TO EXPLAIN WINGING OF THE SCAPULA -I'M NOT I ALSO

    HAVE SLIGHT SYMPTOMS OF A WINGING SCAPULA - HAD A

    EMG TEST AND THE DOC SAID THAT IF THEIR IS NERVE

    DAMAGE TO THE LONG THORATIC NERVE WHICH SUPPLIES

    THE SERRATUS ANTERIOR IT IS NOT MAJOR YET IT IS A

    LITTLE WEAK

    IN A SEPARATED ACCIDENT I ALSO SEPARATED MY

    SHOULDER GRADE THREE

    HAD A MEDIOCRE JOB OF FIXING IT

    IS THERE ANY CHANCE THAT AN ARTIFICIAL

    AC JOINT REPLACEMENT IS IN THE WORKS

    I THINK THAT MANY PEOPLE WITH THIS

    INJURY ARE HOPING FOR THIS KIND OF

    TREATMENT WILL BECOME AVAILABLE

    THIS INJURY IS VERY LIMITING TO ATHLETES

    THAT PARTICIPATE IN CONTACT BODY

    SPORTS- LIKE WRESTLING WHICH HOPEFULLY

    I WILL SOME DAY PARTICIPATE IN AGAIN
