PhD STUDENTSHIP OFFER
A Phd Studentship for three years is available in the Department of
Mechanical Engineering at Southampton University to start in October 1997 or
January 1998.
The area of research will be in Applied Biomechanics, specifically
computational modelling of the human knee and knee implants to help in the
understanding of the biomechanics of the knee and improving current knee
prostheses.

The candidate should hold a good first degree (2.1or higher - merit degree -
cum laude) and the level of English should be good (600 TOEFL or 6 IELTS)
