Job Description: Research and Development Director
Medicus Technologies International is a new company based in Montreal,
Quebec, Canada. Our main focus is the development of new products in the
Orthotics and Prosthetics field.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to joint and direct our
research and development team. This person will be the source of
information on anthropometric, clinical and biomechanical
characteristics for our products and will coordinate closely a small
team of engineers and designers.
Minimum qualifications: Masters degree in Biomechanics or related
engineering field (Ph.D. degree plus related experience is desirable and
will also be considered). Excellent communication skills including
top-notch writing skills in French and English, computer skills, dynamic
presentation/demonstration skills, good teamwork, ability to travel,
integrity and maturity. Knowledge in knee and ankle braces is desirable.
Salary: Negotiable, based on qualifications.
