The Project:
To study the application of Artificial Intelligence in the
analysis and processing of Electromyograms (EMG).
The only requirements and restrictions relate to academic
suitability of the candidate
Qualifications:
A good Hons. Degree (Post grad Qualifications will be an advantage)
in a relevant discipline such as Biomedical Eng., Electronics,
Control Eng, Computing and instrumentation, etc.
Prior knowledge in the following would be an advantage:
Neural Networks, Fuzzy logic, Stochastic signal analysis,
Physiological signal processing.
The studentship will be for 36 months, and will cover the
fees plus 5200 UK-pounds per annum. This will be subject
to satisfactory performance and annual review.
The project will be based at Southampton General Hospital.
