With the ever-growing amount of scientific literature available,
it is becoming increasingly important to gather appropriate information
in the most efficient way. Elsevier Science Publishers is providing
a timesaving service that utilizes electronic tools for a new pre-
publication service: CONTENTS-Alert.
This current awareness service delivers to you by electronic mail the
table of contents of a set of journals covering the field of mathematical
and theoretical methods in physics.
An extensive survey conducted in the pilot stage of the service has shown
that CONTENTS-Alert is very convenient because of the personal, electronic
delivery of tailor-made information that it provides. Advantages provided by
CONTENTS-Alert include:
- lead-time: the information reaches you before or upon actual publication,
- an overview of accepted articles in production, including bibliographic
reference,
- electronic delivery at your own terminal,
- the posibility to create your own database of articles/authors listings,
- learning when your own article is scheduled for publication.
An inventory of the journal titles covered by CONTENTS-Alert is printed on
the reverse side of this letter [=at the end of this message].
You can enter your free subscription by sending us your full address by
e-mail and the present subscription program of your library in the field
of mathematical and theoretical methods in physics [email-address is
given below].
Please note that adequate delivery can only be guaranteed when e-mail is
used for entering your subscription.
