I am led to believe that maximum muscle tension can be generated at
resting length.
If this is true, can anyone tell me the foot angle that means the tibialis
anterior is at resting length. I am considering an angle of zero degrees
to be the foot at a right angle to the shank and dorsiflexion to be
negative. If anyone can supply this information can you also name a
reference paper that I may read to verify this.
Thanks for your help, Marcus.
