Colleagues:
The 21st Annual Conference of the American Society of Biomechanics
begins this week at Clemson, South Carolina. The program chair (Mary
Rodgers from University of Maryland) and committee have developed a
stimulating program which includes the Borelli Award lecture, Keynote
lectures, Tutorials, as well as podium and poster presentations.
For those unable to attend the conference and as a continuing
research tool, ASB has made an electronic proceedings available via
the world wide web. From the ASB home page you will find links to the
conference abstracts. Each paper has been formatted for the web
including the full text and figures of the original submissions. In
addition, the ASB web site has incorporated the Excite search engine
for keyword and concept searching of the online papers.
We trust you will find this web resource a useful tool for exploring
the latest biomechanics research.
