Joyner Sportsmedicine Institute is seeking a highly motivated individual
to serve as a Research Coordinator/Physical Therapist in Lexington,
Kentucky. Clinical responsibilities will include evaluation and treatment
of patients in a state-of-the-art outpatient physical therapy center (20
hpw). Research responsibilities include the coordination of ongoing and
new research projects. This will involve project design, implementation,
data analysis and manuscript preparation. Research will be focused on
biomechanical and neuromuscular issues related to lower extremity injuries
with a focus on anterior cruciate ligament tears. Research will involve
collaborative efforts with Kentucky Sports Medicine Center and the
Biodynamics Laboratory at the University of Kentucky. A Masters degree
with research experience is required. The ideal candidate will have
excellent clinical skills in orthopedics and will have experience in the
noted research focus. Preference will be given to candidates with a
documented publication record.
