Hello to all.
We are interested in testing the effectiveness of specific brand
name shoes which promote the effectiveness of an implanted air sac in
the heel and in some models ,sole of the shoe. We are working on
simulating impact using a prosthetic leg mounted on a sled
arrangement which will enable us to provide a heel strike onto a
force plate mounted at the base. The option will be to use normal
subjects over a standard force plate however this would necessitate
multiple subjects and trials plus shoe sizes. We would be interested
in communicating with anyone who could provide input with regard to
similar research concepts, and literature sources as we have found it
difficult to find articles specifically relating to the air sac
