  • Allograft Bone strength

I have a question. Does anyone know the relative (or absolute) strength of
cadaver bone grafts. I am particularly interested in their ability to hold
fixation screws and the length of time needed to withstand functional
movement of the limb. Basically, when is it safe to begin active and
resistive exercises following the graft. In my situation, the graft is the
entire head of the humerus. If anyone out there has the information or
knows where I can find it, I would be appreciative. Thank you in advance.
