Full-time Faculty Position
Tenure Track
The Department of Physical Therapy is seeking an assistant or associate
professor. This is a tenure track or tenure-eligible position beginning
September 1, 1998. It is a nine month appointment with opportunities to do
summer teaching. The Department will be implementing professional education
at the doctoral level in 1998. Two post-professional masters degree
programs and a post-professional PhD program are also part of the
Department's offering's.
New York University is the largest private university in the country. It is
located in a culturally diverse and exciting urban environment. New York
University was the first to offer a baccalaureate and PhD program in
physical therapy. Both programs are internationally recognized.
QUALIFICATIONS: Physical therapist with an earned doctorate at the time of
appointment; experience in teaching, research, and clinical practice;
eligible for physical therapy licensure; areas of expertise include anatomy,
physiology, neuroscience and adult neurological rehabilitation; other
content areas will be considered.
