    Position: The Department of Physical Therapy is seeking to fill 2 tenure
    track positions as a result of our expanding entry-level and post-graduate
    degrees. Positions are nine month appointments with annual review.
    Option of summer support for teaching or research.

    Qualifications: Ph.D. and University teaching experience. Demonstrated
    record of research and publication required (ABDs may apply but are
    expected to have earned a Ph.D. by start of employment). All areas of
    content expertise are welcomed. P.T.'s preferred, others are encouraged
    to apply.

    Responsibilities: Teach in the entry-level, problem-based and advanced
    Master's curricula. An innovative and unique doctoral program is being
    planned. Conduct research that contributes to a lasting change in the
    community, publish scholarly work, advise students, direct graduate
    student research, and provide service to the department, college and
    university and participate in professional activities.

    Salary and Rank: Commensurate with qualifications and experiences.

    Appointment Date: Starting date negotiable

    applications will begin November 1997.

    General Information: Georgia State University has an enrollment of over
    22,000 students and is located in downtown Atlanta. the Physical Therapy
    program is the oldest in the state and enjoys an excellent reputation in
    the community. The College of Health and Human Sciences houses
    Departments of Respiratory Therapy, Nutrition and Laboratory Sciences,
    Social Work and Criminal Justice and a School of Nursing. There is
    opportunity to perform collaborative research within the University and
