FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPERS
VI EMED SCIENTIFIC MEETING
BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA
August 8th to 12th, 1988

and Queensland University of Technology
The EMED SCIENTIFIC MEETING is open to every scientist and clinician
working in the field of pressure distribution analysis.
The meeting will consist of hands-on workshops, scientific presentations
and discussions.
For the fifth time
THE NOVEL AWARD
will be presented for the best scientific manuscripts in the field of
dynamic pressure distribution analysis. The awards will be
AU$10,000 for the first prize
AU$3,000 for the second prize
AU$1,000 for the third prize
ABSTRACTS AND MANUSCRIPTS
Abstracts must be submitted by all those intending to give a presentation
at the meeting. Manuscripts and abstracts must be submitted by all those
entering their paper for the novel award. It is compulsory for all
entrants of the award to give an oral presentation at the meeting.
REGISTRATION
The full early registration fee will be AU$390. This will include daily
lunches, morning and afternoon teas, three evening meals and activities
on the special events day. Special rates will be given for guests and
children. The late registration fee will be AU$490.
