Fuzzy logic and motor control

I am in need of an introductory article or articles on fuzzy logic
especially its potential use in motor control.
As I am not an engineer, this article needs to be fairly conceptual to be
most helpful. Review articles for a science literate layman audience such
as Discovery magazine could also be helpful.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
