8th International Conference on Environmental Ergonomics

I would like to announce the 8th International Conference on Environmental
Ergonomics to be held in San Diego, CA, Oct 18-23 1998. The Conference
provides and international forum for presentation and discussion of recent
advances and research achievements in the field of environmental ergonomics.

Topics for the Conference include:
- Applied environmental physiology
- Environmental pathophysiology
- Protection and survival in hazardous conditions
Thermal
Underwater
Altitude
Gravity
- Human factors and protective systems
- Indices of physiological and physical strain and their relationship to
tolerance and performance
- Test methods and standards, with special reference to actual working
conditions

In addition, the Organizing Committee has opened a "Call for Papers" for
