The Transportation Research Center Inc. is seeking a biomechanics research eng
ineer to conduct and manage projects in its Vehicle Research and Test Division
Position entails conducting research and testing related to the biomechanic
s of vehicle occupants and pedestrians including evaulation, design, and devel
opment of crash test dummies. Initial work would be conducted in the area of
pedestrian safety including leg impacts.
Candidates should have a BS or MS in mechanical or biomedical engineering (or
comparable discipline) with demonstrated knowledge of mathemmatics, engineerin
g mechanics, mechanical engineering, structures, machine design, computer tech
nology/modeling/simulation. Statistical/SAS experience a plus. Excellent wri
tten and verbal commuincations required. Experience in transportation-related
