Dear young ASME members,
The American Society of Mechanical Engineering (ASME) has started an
internship program that may interest you known as the leadership
development initiative (LDI). The program is for young engineers that have
been finished with training for a few years and are interested in becoming
involved in the inner workings of the society at the national level. The
ASME has a strong biomechanics division and sponsors scientific meetings at
the annual ASME congress. LDI interns are funded to attend congress as
well as other appropriate business meetings. If you would like an
application please email your request to me (cjacobs@ortho.hmc.psu.edu).
Chris Jacobs, Ph.D.
