Biomedical Engineering
The Department of Biomedical Engineering invites applications for a
Post-Doctoral Scholar that will be open beginning July 1, 1998.
The position is funded by a newly awarded Whitaker Special Opportunity
Award, "Establishing Excellence in Computational Tissue Mechanics." The
focus includes computational cell and tissue biomechanics research.
The department presently has 9 full-time faculty members, an ABET
accredited undergraduate program with 200 undergraduate majors, and over 50
graduate students. Applicants must have an earned doctorate.
Applications must be received by March 15, 1998. Send CV, brief description
of research and teaching interests, and names and addresses of three
