  • The infant neck - Flexion, hyperextension and rotation ??

    Biomch-l list members,

I posted a message on 14/10/97 trying to obtain infant anthropometric
data. I had a very good response and have now obtained most of the
    information I required.

However, I am having difficulty obtaining more detailed
information on the flexion, hyperextension and rotation properties
(including angles of motion, distances from ref points in each
position etc) of the infant neck.

    Is this data available?

Any refs giving any of the above information (infant or adult) or
general information on the design and construction of Finite Element
Analysis and mechanical infant models would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any help,

    Corrina
